Let's get something straight: it isn't a snowpocalypse, and it's not a snownado. It's not a snowsaster, a snood (snow flood), or a snowphoon (snow typhoon). It's not even a blizzacane, snowtastrophe, or snowruption! It's just a lot of snow. There's really no need to make up cute, new words.

That sounds swelltastic, even greatastic!

History Buff

Nor is it snowtiful, snowriffic, snowcredible, or snowmazing!  Now, stop with the mutant words already; English is confusing enough already.

I long for the days in the late 1980's when gas was around .99 cents a gallon. I don't even want to confess here what it cost to fill my pick up truck earlier this week! :P

I guess you wouldn't like the word "teacheriffic."  We used that one to describe outfits or office supplies that would work at school.  Don't worry; we didn't use it in front of the students.

"What a teacheriffic outfit you have on today."

History Buff

I don't usually watch Letterman, but after I posted that, Letterman used many of them in a bit on his show.  He must monitor SDCFans.  Hey, Dave!

He also mentions that this spring we are forecasted to have something like a "Mild-and-Slightly-Cloudy-pocolypse".

All right!  Are you really laughing out loud when you type, "LOL"?
Are you really rolling on the floor laughing when you type "ROFL"?
