Growing up we always had season passes/ with the bff passes and would try to take some of my cousins and aunts and uncles when they could go, and if they couldn't come we would do the grab people out of the ticket line trick. You should have seen the faces of those parents, and they always tried to pay my mom and dad for the free tickets, dad never let that happen and I will always look up to my parents for doing that. I believe that that started somewhat of a tradition in our family, as my wife and I now do the same thing when we can.

This may have been mentioned already, but we got our Season Passes at AAA.  We saved $12.00 a piece on Adult passes.  They don't have discount passes for kids,  but it still helps anyway.

well bobber that was a very nice thing your parents did!! wish i could have been one who received it lol just kidding. but what your father did was very noble and the money that your father saved them was probably spent on a child's memory like a really cool souvenir so its not like sdc was loosing any money or anything.

if i have not used my BAF's, i take them with me and try to give them to either somebody at the motel, or at the city for sure..

i prefer the motel, because i like to think that will help paige too.  because you know if you got free ticket your going to tell you friends where at!!  LOL..

important thing is they dont go to waste.

Thats a good idea, they are very good to us at the Homestay.  I talk them up as well to people that are going to the area as well.

FYI...I tried buying them at AAA one year before the season started, and they only sell once the park opens in Springtime.

Did you get any of the "extras"? BAF tickets, etc.?

We are hoping to plan a trip this weekend and take my mother-in-law.  My husband and I are season pass holders, but there aren't any Bring a Friends until December.  Does anyone know of any coupons?  Earlier this year we got a newsletter in the mail and it had coupons in it to get in for around $20.  I was hoping to get one for this fall, but we haven't.  Does anyone know of any major discounts?  We are on somewhat of a budget and can't really afford full priced admission.  Any advice would be greatly apprecaited!!

There's a coupon in the summer edition of the times for $20 tickets for up to 2 people. Good thru oct 29th. We just used it yesterday for one of my daughters friends.

You don't get any of the extras (BAF tickets) with the AAA discount passes.  Since the only people we go with are my parents and they buy passes also, we havent needed them.

Does anyone have an extra coupon that was in the SDC Times from this summer?  I would really appreciate it :)

Do you still have the last SDC Times you got? It might still have a current coupon, the last one I got was early/mid summer and it had the coupon good through 10/29. There usually are some other discounts out there, but nothing near a $20 ticket. You get $5 off another ticket for being a pass holder. Are you planning an overnight stay? If so, Paige could probably save you enough money on the hotel bill to make up for the ticket purchase. I think she can get tickets also, not sure what her rate is. You might also try this site.

BTW, you wouldn't happen to be from Tuscumbia would you?

Yes, I am.  I remember getting the newsletter, but I can't find it.  We will probably just come home the same day so we won't need a room.  Thank you for your advice.
