I was thinking about how bad I want to get back to SDC and I wound up finding some great video on YouTube of people going through the Flooded Mine. I played one of them once.

And then twice more after that.

I went to my local Bass Pro here in Independence, MO. and I actually.....I cant believe I am going to admit this to ya' all......well, first off, there is a really cool live duck and fish set up to look like a creek and waterfall and old pipes. Anyway, I actually noticed a pipe, pointing straight up and down, that had water squirting out of it that reminded me immediately of the pipe above the convict who is stradled on a pipe and cranking with his arm. It looks like that pipe over his head and the water comes out just a little less than that pipe in FM.

Now....to notice something like that....is that passionate? Or have I just fell off the deep end?!  :-\

Ok, I will now pick up what's left of my sanity and scoot.  ;) ;D

Andy..  STOP immediately!

           step back from the computer.

           couple of deep breaths.

            drink of cold water.

             close you eyes real tight.

              Wait,  Wait,  Wait,

NOW  Open your eyes what do you see?

If all you see is the SDC logo or the SDCFans logo, relax, your as normal as the rest of us!!    LOL!  Hope this helped!

HAve a great Day!

I truly understand..   I have been to the park 4 times already this season and I am itching to go back.  I have to wait like 2 weeks.

Perhaps we need a thread for SDC Anonymous - a little rehab program for those of you who collect too much, attend too often, know every nook and cranny, and post more than the typical fan on SDCFans.

For those of you who don't get enough of SDC, perhaps you can convence the powers that be to rent the  rooms above the ice cream parlor...the Silver Dollar City Hotel that used to be ran by Shorty Kellums on Beverly Hillbillies. I'd bet for just a little bit extra, they would rent the celebrity suites, ya know, the rooms Jed, Granny, Elly Mae and Jethro stayed in. (Or stay nearby: Rock Lane Lodge was where the cast and crew of Beverly Hillbillies really stayed during filming in 1969. It's on Indian Point, and is called something like Rock Lane Resort or something.)

Oh, I adore that area of the Indep Bass Pro!

And you are totally not alone... I was getting visions of SDC the other day when it was warm out and the asphalt smell was wafting around. *sigh*

Andy, glad your ok, I was concerned,

Tina, ye i forgot about effects of the asphalt smell on us. Will have to work on that problem.

Its okay, my son and I go on "vacay" via youtube at least once a month. We play ride the roller coaster when going up and down hills in the car, and if he sees his daddy on the other side of the walmarts when we are shoppin he shakes his fist and yells UGLY!! So you are not alone.
