We were going to try to make a Branson trip on the 4th of July weekend and wondered if there was a special fireworks show on the night of the 4th anywhere?  Looks like SDC closes at 7:00 so there's nothing there I take it?

i've never done the 4th before...  might consider it this year.

We went one year on the 4th and had a wonderful time.  The first day they had fireworks at Branson Landing and the next day we went and watched the fireworks from the Dewey Visitor Center.  The fireworks over the water was fantastic!!!  Of course, one year we went to Hollister and they had some really good fireworks too.  I would give anything to be there this year.  But life changes and not always for the good but we do have our memories and they make you smile.

So out of all of those performances which one would you consider to be the "don't miss" fireworks show? :)

I think for me and the girls we enjoyed the fireworks over Table Rock Lake.  It was nice seeing people talk and sharing their day or plans with you.  I said I would love to live here and they encouraged me to do.  They said we have schools and nice places to live.  Maybe next year.... but the fireworks were of superior quality at the Chateau. Also, there were people helping direct traffic and getting out was not bad at all.

i have always wondered why they do not have a 4th of july nite cruise on the showboat.  How cool would that be??

I've always wondered why SDC doesn't stay open later on the 4th at least. They could do a fireworks show and a few extra operating hours means more $$$.

They should be open later during the summer anyway I think but that is a whole different discussion for a different thread.  ;D

Echo Hollow would be an awesome place for a fireworks show! Although, I suppose with all of the trees nearby that it poses a serious fire hazard.

The july calendar lists all of the fireworks displays.
