I know, I know, Eagle Lodge, but unfortunately that won't work for us.   

I need adjoining standard rooms or a suite with a separate bedroom for a trip next Sunday-Tuesday. 

Eagle Lodge doesn't have adjoining rooms (Yet! Paige said they hope to connect some rooms this winter).  Deer Run's suites are booked.

We've stayed at Stillwaters several times, but only in the off-season.  Peak season prices are $200+.  I'd like to find something closer to the $100-125 range.  Any ideas?

Thanks, Sanddunerider.  Bavarian Village is booked, but it looked like a good option.

Is anyone familiar with Indian Trails Resort?  It looks quite nice.

We have stayed at Honeysuckle Inn & Hotel Grand Victorian when we needed connecting rooms.

I used to stay at honeysuckle also, but that was couple of years ago before i found eagles lodge,.,,

Honeysuckles rooms are nice and clean. 
Motel is run by "local" "amercians" , (( very important to me))
they do have a decent breakfast also.. 
The last 2 or 3 time i was there the WIFI sucked!
and there rates (it think) are in the 65-70.00 range.

I dont have there website anymore, but they used to have a internet discount.

I booked a family suite (1 entrance, 2 rooms, 1 bath) at Green Mountain Inn for $90/night.  It seems like a pretty good deal.  We'll see!

I'll remember the Honeysuckle Inn for future trips.

I will also keep you all informed regarding adjoining rooms for next year. There is talk with the owner on that and other improvements over the winter while we are closed. Sorry we couldn't accomodate! Hope you have a great stay, I have heard good things about them.
