Besides Terry Sanders and the "oooo-weee" guy at GE, do you all seem to see some of the same people every time you visit the park? Naturally you'll see some of the same citizens from time to time, but for instance I can not think of a time we've visited the park and not seen this girl:

Anyone else?

Duelist

Yeah, we usually see her greeting guests arriving on the trams or waving goodbye to everyone as we exit into the Hospitality House.  A very pretty and friendly girl.  She seems to be as frequently seen as Shorty and Deputy Melvin Lump.

Over the last few years they have cut waaaaaaaayyy back on the number of costumed characters who entertain on the streets. I have seen the gal pictured above doing many things on park...at the McHaffey place, in street skits on Main Street, down at Red and Gold Hall watching the door, and much more. Seems like there may be about a half dozen or so folks who do this kind of work. Very sad to me, I remember the day...'cause it was me, too, who was out there on the streets entertaining. It was a lot of fun, too!
"Howdy there folks! My name is Junior Dugan, and I'll be drivin' your diving bell!"

That's Whoops E. Daisy, aka Mandi Crawford.  Then there's also Shakey and Shorty.

And Here's one of the pictures we have a shorty from the last time we were there.

I can honestly say that the last 2 times I went, I did not see her.  And before then, we saw her every time!  We probably just went on one of her few days off.  lol

What about Justin Case, or Felix Navidad?

Silver Dollar City just isn't the same without seeing Terry, Mandi, Judy, and the rest of the crew. Actually, I even look for the craftsmen too such as Ray Johnson, Frank Capps, George Stiverson, Todd Nelson and Jeff Walker.

I was really bummed when I went last week, and Ray Johnson was off the entire time.

On SDC facebook someone posted Ray Johnson was having some medical problems but did not say what.  Asked that everyone who loved SDC to send some prayers up for Ray.

I'm certainly not disappointed when I do see her. I may be married, but I'm not dead.  ;D
