If SDC would put "Headin' West" on a DVD, I would buy it.

^^You just read my mind!^^

This is the prospector song:

It's from Woody's Round Up (Toy Story 2).

I still haven't gotten an email back about the show.  ???

U Smell Smoke

According to the SDC website it appears next year will be the last one for Headin' West.  I wonder what they are going to replace it with??

MissinTheGreenTrams

they will replace it with the musical stylings of ME!!!  :-* hahaha

I hate to see good shows go, but they have to make one of two choices. Either revamp the current show, or bring in a new show. Although, the lines have still been a "mile" long to get into Headin' West so it seems to be just as popular as always. ???

I have not seen the show, and I am glad that this was not the last season as I had assumed.

Thats one reason why my family doesnt go see the shows while at SDC. The lines seem longer than ride lines!! Its crazy!

The difference is, the rides can only hold a dozen, or so people at a time, while the shows can hold up to hundreds.

Don't fret. Go see a show! :)

Alas...we were informed just a couple of days ago that this was the last season for "Headin' West."  What will replace it next fall in the Opera House has not yet been decided.
"Why do they call them Wild Women?"

NOOOOOO  :o O well, nothing lost nothing gained! I figure I had plenty of years to see it, if I didn't get to it, well I just wasn't supposed to see it.

Maybe they could replace Headin' West with... Headin' West! Just change a few things here and there, call it a new show, but still keep it. Headin' West is one of the reasons I love National Harvest Festival. Last year, I spent one of the days of the festival in the Opera House all day so I saw every Headin' West show on the schedule.
Here is my excuse because I realize not doing anything but watching the same show all day isn't really getting the full SDC experience: A couple days before we went to Branson, I twisted my knee while dancing but I wasn't going to let anything stop me from going to SDC! The day I sat in the theatre was our 2nd or 3rd day straight being at SDC, and it's not like I'd never been before so I thought I could deprive myself of half of the park for just one day. And we went back the next day and my knee was feeling better so I could walk around all day.

They never did email me back! I asked them about it twice thinking maybe the first time I typed my email address wrong, but I double checked before I sent it the second time.  ???
