Our family (myself, hubby and sons 5 & 2) had season passes this year for the first time and next week will be our last visit for a while.
We are getting annual passes to Walt Disney World next year in April, so our vacations in 2012-2013 will all be at WDW, but I'm sure we will be back at SDC in 2014, probably even for Old Time Christmas 2013. Hopefully there will be new rides and attractions for us to explore!
I'll still be on the boards from time to time keeping up with the news!

Look for Beta Mike while  you are in Florida. He is a Disney employee. He would probably go out of his way to meet with  you if  you give him enough advance notice. Happy travels!

Well good for you, If you come back in 2013 you will get to ride the NEW coaster..... Maybe?   if there is one..

I had to take off from late Aug 2011 until March/April 2012, thats 8 months...and the longest I have gone since OTC began.

I hope to get to WDW someday, but as it is I will be at WDL this summer when in Cali for a wedding.

I took a trip to Silver Dollar City in 2005, and then didn't return again until 2010. That was a very long five years! I definitely can understand the pain, but Silver Dollar City is a slow grower so you won't miss much.
