Any of my okie brethern know if they have Sioux City Sasparilla at Pops in Arcadia?  This last weekend I went out and bought saltwater taffy, kettle corn, and atomic fire balls to celebrate opening weekend. I think I need help

Yesterday at SDC I broke tradition and had an Orange Cream so that my bottle collection would have all the varieties. I know the sacrifices we all make right? (Well all...except the elusive Prickly Pear Soda-if you have/ find this...please buy it and I will pay you for it and shipping!!!)

On our way back from Springfield Saturday evening, we stopped at Redmond's. My sister rode the bus home with the winterguard team (they had competition that day... and got GOLD!!). I bought 3 bottles of Souix City Sasparilla, then I got home, handed my sister an empty bottle and told her this is what she missed for trying to look cool riding a bus with people she tells me she hates. She got really mad at me, but in all fairness, she ditched after they performed and went to Lambert's without telling me, so I had to eat concession stand nachos for lunch and a Coke for dinner, because Mom gave her the credit card and I only had $7 on me that day.

Maybe I should have THROWN the bottle at her!

Haha, Sarsaparilla is the only drink in town that can end almost any argument - one way, or another.

Oh and another thing, while we were still in Branson, at the hotel, she locked me out on the balcony, on the third floor, in the rain.

Locked you out on a balcony in the rain? I don't know if I'da thrown the bottle at her, but I might have smacked her a good one with it (once empty of course, don't want to waste your sasparilla)

When I was at SDC for World-Fest, I was in line for WF with my bf and somebody had left an empty sasparilla bottle sitting on a box attached to the wall. He pointed at it and said, "Hey! Look!"
I said, "That is my favorite drink!"
He pointed at 'Sioux City' and said, "Well, that's where I'm from, so take that!!"

Has anyone else tried the other variations/ sodas on the Sioux City beverage line?

Orange Cream

Prickly Pear (I am looking for this one, but have been unable to track it down so if you see it...buy it for me!)

I love the Orange Cream! It's the only one I've had besides the Sarsaparilla. (If I knew where I could find them locally I'm sure I'd try the other flavors, too.)
