Screamscape posted a new rumor about Dollywood working with Rocky Mountain on coaster based on some ideas that Dollywood management team has came up with.

That's called a intentional plug!
Synergy within the Hershing Entertainment company, free advertising.
I do bet they are watching this, if you have been to DW you realize quickly they are the big  park in the Hershing Empire.
They have the capital to spend adn they do it almost yearly.

Of course they are watching, they sister parks in the same chain. I don't know why this is even a rumor that people are getting excited about, this is how it always works. It doesn't mean they'll get one though, just like we may not get a wing-rider any time soon.

Screamscape tends to post a lot of little tidbits like this that are little more than chatter from younger enthusiasts...

In a way I kind of like Dollywood and SDC having completely different coasters. I don't want it to be like six flags or Disney where they are all a copy lol

I do agree.  SFSL and WOF are just summertime babysitters. (That has been mentioned before). But it is true.  Amusement Parks are a way to run from ride to ride and never really see the park (Well except from the tip top of the long chain hill from one of the 37,000 coasters in that park).  Not to mention the food is terrible and there is no real craftsmanship.

Back on track-I dont want to see 2 "identical" sister parks either.  I think DW and SDC should have their own identity.

;D  I'm ready to see what they have got up their sleeves!

We are not going to see an OR replica at DW, atleast not in 2014, it would not fit. I'm going to guess something from Premier Rides with multiple launch sections. Yes, it sounds like the backlot stunt coasters but it is the only thing that makes since to me. The lot of land does not give much to work with, and the hillside limits a lot of things as well.
