I got the MRI done Thursday and right away they could tell there was a small fracture. The professional MRI reader guy is supposed to look at it some time this weekend but for now I have to keep it wrapped, elevated with ice and stay off of it as much as possible.  :(

So close, yet so far huh Tiff? As I have said before, I have been injured for several years, onr thing after another, and have been to the City in pain many times, but the City always seemed to make things better. There must be a fountain of youth out there in them Ozarks!

I hear that it may be out there by lake Silver. Ponce de Leon was looking for it or something ....

If my cousin's wife didn't have to work everyday, we were gonna go to SDC, but keeping up with a 4 yr old and a 2 yr old at a theme park is really hard work, so we decided not to go. My cousin and I sat around sharing SDC memories from years gone by, which was still fun, but not the same as actually being there.

They got those leash things that look like backpacks for the young'ens. THose things are a lifesaver.

Tiff, its been 10 or 11 days now,  how is the healing process going?

tiffanylynnt

Its not as swollen as it was, but it still hurts really bad. I'm not supposed to be walking on it, but crutches are next to impossible for clumsy people like me. I have a follow up appointment tomorrow to see exactly how the far the healing is, then we'll see what happens from there.

Do what they say, Tiff!  Icing it helps tremendously. I broke my knee in January, and I'm still not walking...blah...such is life.

Hope you get back to normal soon. On the other hand, had you came out and walked some trails, you might have built up some foot muscle that would have been more resistant to injury.  ;D

Yeah, maybe so!  ;)

I figured with all the ballet and dancing, non-dance related foot injuries would be harder to come by, but I guess with dancing being (for the most part) on the BOTTOM of feet, dropping something on the TOP doesn't help much.  :-\
