There was a fire at the Queen Anne 2 Motel on the strip (Highway 76) today.  Another motel gone.

Not much of a loss, building was run down, and was vacant....I dont think it was even open for business,,,  I jsut hope near by building were undamaged,,,, saw some great pics on FB..

slowly but surely - we're getting this town cleaned up and rid of the run down looking older motels and businesses.  This was not a loss, this was natural selection taking care of business.

Even though it was "vacant", the radio report says the fire was due to a mattress fire.   Hmm...

This is not the Queen Anne that is located on Hwy 76. This is the one on Schaefer Drive, off Green Mountain Drive.
