What is everyone's favorite candy at SDC?

Example: Peanut Brittle? walnut brittle? fudge? hot cinnamon fireballs? taffy?

I didn't want to make it a poll, cause I'm sure I'd leave out somebody's favorite and then they'd hate me forever, but I was just curious what y'all think.

FYI Funnel Cake doesn't count

NO DOUBT!!!   Banana Taffy............................. :D.

well wait a minute...  cinnamon taffy is pretty tasty... ;D

Hold up....  No the Peanut Brittle is best.... :D

Oh no!!  the giant peanut clusters are the best..... 8).

How are we suppose to have "1" favorite candy....  how about a top 10 instead..??!!  LOL ??? ???

My favorite Candy at SDC? Gosh, it's been 35 years, I can't remember her last name! ;)  (This is a joke.)
"Howdy there folks! My name is Junior Dugan, and I'll be drivin' your diving bell!"

How-doFolks

Taffy would have to be my #1.
When i was a kid tho', i remember the cinnamon sticks were the best.

LOL!!!  Oh man!!

I love the peanut brittle! I take home at least a bag or two every year.  When I was a kid my favorite was a rock candy sucker on a wooden stick (pure sugar!), and my brother's was the giant jaw breaker.
"Red Flanders, you come back in here and put on your pants!" "Well Sadie, I ain't got no pants no more. The dang Baldknobbers stole 'em!"

Junior

Ok...cashew brittle. Peanut brittle next. Taffy, any flavor next. I remember during some fall crafts festivals in the early 80s a family that made fresh candy...it was excellent English toffee. That beat the cashew brittle.

Y'all are making me hungry.

@Junior,  :o bad junior, no candy for you  ;)

If funnel cakes aren't allowed, the judges have to disallow kettle corn and pork rinds also. I would say it has to be for sale in the candy store.

sanddunerider

oh man!!  I just found out the apple turnovers/cinnamom ice cream is back!!!!..... Started selling again when they started the gospel festival.............

But I suppose that doesn't count either..... :( :( :( :(

Not unless they are selling em in the candy shop. Now if this were expanded to include anything sweet.....

I was gonna ask if Chocolate covered strawberry's counted....but you answered that here....yes they sell them in the candy shop....it would be a tossup between those and the rocky road fudge :p

DollarCityBoy

My wife and I always grab a couple chocolate covered strawberries in the spring & summer.
My grandmothers favorite was always the divinity.
You have a great past just ahead of you.
