Talked to Paige over the weekend and looks like April 1 is still the scheduled opening date for this year..

Stayed at Classic Motor Inn, had a nice visit with Katy there.. She said there has been a few of us in and out so far this year, and looking forward to seeing more of us. Especially Opening weekend for SDC..
We are getting a good discounted price,
She does have Pet rooms available,
Smoking rooms available,
Of course still has her breakfast available...

went down to Branson over the weekend to catch some of the shows opening up for the season. had a great trip..

Talked to Paige, she is still scheduled to open on April 1st...

Stayed at Classic Motor Inn, had a nice stay, breakfast seemed to be better than usual? not sure why, it is the same menu as last year?..

Katy wanted me to remind everyone she is offering a good discount and is looking forward to meeting some of us opening weekend for SDC..

Hey Everybody! We are getting ready for 2014 and can't wait until we open April 1! Here are a few updates for you.

Unfortunately due to the lack of stays at Econo Lodge, the PTB will not be offering the SDC Fan rate this year at the Econo. HomeStay of course will continue the rate of $40.00 + tax and we are excited to see all of you again this year!

We did some upgrades on the rooms late last year and now mainly the exterior. As we get ready to open there will be some "work" going on hopefully done by end of April. We may be adding "adjoining" rooms even! :-)

Also, keep in mind for holidays/events in town, try to get your reservations in early so we can accommodate! We are looking to be very busy this year and looks like Branson is too! ;-) This is all good news and again cannot wait to see you all again! You can contact me at anytime, cell, PM or hotel (leave a msg if I do not answer).

Thank you all for your support over the last few years, as a group we did over 400 rooms for 2013....would love to beat that for 2014! AND I actually might be able to join you at SDC on the meet ups this year as my schedule will allow so far! Yea! So....who is going with me to get on the rides this time? :-)

P.S. Parson, is Caleb ready for work this year? Hee hee!

I've stayed at the motel, and recommend it to anyone...hope 2014 is a good one for Eagle1.

He certainly is! He'd even ride some of the rides with you if you need him too. As a matter of fact, he wants you to get ME a job down there, so we could move to Branson permanently.

Got to spend some time with Paige over the weekend... she is still planning to open on April 1st....

Stayed at Classic again, had a good stay, visited with Katy their on Monday, and she said there were a couple of other SDC groups staying with her, But failed to mention the SDC discounts.... So remember if you stay there the next week or so, before Paige opens, mention the SDC discount when you check in. I paid cash this weekend and was surprised they had me prepay? 1st time that has happened.. I think the owner checked me in and doesn't know me as well as Katy does.

Anyway a good branson trip, went to the city on sunday

Howdy Folks! It's late but time for another update!

I will be overseeing Econo Lodge this year so I'm sure for those of you who have stayed there in the past for the SDC Fan discount will be approved and continue. I am still working on having as an option for anyone new who has not stayed there before...more on that to come. Econo Lodge is open as of March 16th. I know you would all love our new crew over there!

On the HomeStay Inn latest news, we will have our water turned on tomorrow. AND IF any of you would like to stay with us starting March 28th, it has been approved. It will be limited front desk and breakfast as we "open" April 1. We would love to accommodate early for this group only! We will as of Thursday have Angela or Cherie taking calls and making reservations. Bare with me as for the next few months will be spending time at Econo. Yes, I'm still here and will be here. This is exciting for me and cannot wait to see you all again! Any questions or needing more info, call my cell or PM me!

We have been working on outside improvements and continuing with room improvements as well, I am really pumped! And yes, I will get more time this year to visit SDC...amazing!

Well Paige is open and ready!

So if you were waiting for her so you could go to branson, the time has arrived!

don't be surprised if you see some workers around the building. they are doing some upgrades..

But the good news she is open and ready, has the same crew she had last year. Cherie is back and so is Angela...

Hey everyone, have some news about Homestay, due to lack of reservations for next couple of weeks,, Paige's boss has decided to shut Homestay down for the time being.

.

Word is a couple of weeks... I would not be surprised if it is the first of May before they are open again..

.

So if your coming to town, give Katy a call at Classic Motor Inn, 417-334-6991.. I have us set up there to get the discounted SDC rate there also.... I just called her and made my reservations for April 26-27..
