As many times as I have ridden Thunderation - granted, I haven't been on it for a while with a 10-year-old who doesn't like coasters - when I finally got to ride again with my just-tall-enough son, I noticed a theme song for the ride.  I have never heard the song before this week.  Has it always been there?

Ive noticed they play some blugrassy music other than what he park plays on its speakers
I ain't got no pants no more! The Dang Baldknobbers stole'em!

That's what I've heard, but in between other songs there was a ThuNderaTion song.  I thought it was great.  There should be a CD with all the themes, old and new.

Haha when I worked at TNT in 2012 as a welcoming to the ride the team would put that song on repeat and blare it! They made sure I knew the words to the song.

If I'm not mistaken I believe an employee of the park wrote the song for the ride.

"Thunderation!
Gonna take you for a ride
Thunderation!
With your bestfriend by your side.
Thunderation!
Gonna take you round and round
And then bring you way up! And bring you down!

Last year during Moonlight Madness, they were playing the Beach Boys on TNT. Yuck!!!!

Why I Do Not Attend - After hearing Joel Manby on the Outlaw Run video proclaiming how important the theme is to SDC, I wonder how he justifies the discrepancy of playing pop and rock music.

Yes, thank you!  I still can't help but wonder when the song was added.  I've ridden TNT since its beginning, but this was the first time I heard the song.
