LSU Granny

My granddaughter and I went several years ago and loved it.  It's a little pricey if you have several in your group but for the two of us I thought it was a good value.  You can stay as long as you like so you can easily spend a morning there.  It was warm inside so that might be an issue.

History Buff

I haven't been, but at nearly $20 for each adult and $10 for each kid (before discounts), it does seem a little high.  Perhaps there is more there than meets the eye.
Always SEEKING Memories Worth Repeating

Junior, too!

Just a quick note about the Butterfly Palace. Bruce Herschend (one of Jacks sons) and his wife own and operate it. Actually, his wife runs it, while Bruce runs Talking Rocks Caverns.
"Abandon ship! Women and Juniors first!"

DollarCityBoy

My wife, in-laws, 2 nieces and I have been there once. We went during the Christmas season during the 'white-flight' exhibit.

We all enjoyed it, except there was a little boy who kept wanting to crush the butterflies with his feet. His parents did nothing, and we kept telling him to stop. Parents looked away.  :(
Our youngest niece was about 6 at the time, about the age of the boy, was getting really sad about it, and even she told him to stop being mean!

There is a fun jungle theamed mirror maze that is cool too, we all laughed at how confused my father-in-law was getting in there...good times!
You have a great past just ahead of you.
