I know that some of you enjoy fishing and some of you follow the business dealings of Bass Pro. It was announced today that Bass Pro is buying Ranger Boats in Flippin AR. A private equity company has owned Ranger for a few years. More details from KTLO radio in Mountain Home AR:

Pretty sure Johnny Morris has owned the Ranger Bass Boat company all along,

I know he is deeply affiliated with Bass Pro..................

So..........  Bass Pro "buying"   Ranger Boats does not seem like to big of a reach....................

OR, maybe he just needs to raise some more money to build another Gold Course in Branson

Johnny Morris nor any of his businesses have never had any connection or affiliation with Ranger Boats until this announcement.

Forest Wood is the founder owner of Ranger Bass Boats..!!

Forrest Owned the company is still involved on a consultation basis.  He sold the company and they began to make a aluminum hull boat with the fiberglass boats.  Bass Pro just bought in and is welcome here for its stability.  Marion County Arkansas relies on Ranger Boats as one of the largest if not the largest employer.
