Bottom of picture page. American owned. The lady I booked with is the owner, husband and her live on premises. Very nice lady. Gave me a SDC discount also. Pet friendly. She had no problem with me bringing my two dogs. Actually encouraged it.

What are the rates?

No apology. There is a very similar named one that I actually got mixed up with when talking to family. I believe $48 a night on rates. Little pricier than others. Heard the new laminate floors are nice though. No dirty carpet.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a plug for a business that has agreed to give us SDC fans a special rate.  These hotel owners don't have to do that for us, and if they do it should be given notice to the board, especially to new members who may not know about it.  I for one was glad to hear about the special rate when I used it two winter seasons ago.  The Classic was a good hotel to stay in, and the price was fantastic (usually stay on the lake).  If someone agrees to cut our club a deal, they do it for advertising purposes, and it deserves to be plugged every now and then.  Thanks Sanddune for your work in helping us with this.

I can't believe people are making such a big deal about it.  Laroy, I'm guessing you have no real world business experience and you also don't know how to be appreciative to those who do something nice even if they don't have to.  Grow up.  And your "free speech" lecture goes both ways.  We have the freedom to tell you to stop saying mindless things.
I'm sure the Homestead is a fine establishment and I look forward to hearing a review.  I hope BMW has a good experience and a good room...if he doesn't, he might want to consider the Classic next time, as many of us have had good experiences there with a great discount.

Yes. People keep repeating it over and over again and I dont know why. Im sure everyone on this thread knows about the Classic deal by now because it has its own thread. Why not keep it in the thread?
