We aren't getting passes next year.  Instead we are going to take the kids to disney for a week!  We will go in January 2017 because prices in January are so much better than other times we could go.  We will also have a few extra days in Florida.  Anything near Orlando (not any other theme parks) that we should make sure to do?  Any Disney suggestions?  The kids will be 4, 9 and 9.

Legoland sorry, 3 day Disney cruise?

We went second week of Feb and it was pleasant, one day.was warm enought to hit Typhoton Lagoon,.70s and sun , water is heated Lot's of South Americans that time of year but may be lighter this year because there's a serious recession in Argentina and Brazil.

Animal Kingdom was our favorite, Hollywood Studios is going to be half closed with the major projects coming.
If you are staying on resort, consider renting points and get a Disney time share. While not on the monorail The Wilderness was great, boat service to the front of WDW is a plus, catch monorail there for epcot. My

Yeah but it's slowly morphing into a theme park, if one does go that way, Google Dixie Crossroads, they have a fantastic way to do rock shrimp and often have Royal Reds on the menu as well. Incredible. Kids menus are super cheap as well. Royal Reds are deep water shrimp and blow anything else away. Googlethem.

We're booked for this coming July.  We rented points for 3 nights at the Beach Club and 5 nights at Bay lake Tower.  We don't really leave Disney much while in Orlando.  We do the four major parks and sometimes some meals at other resorts.  We do afternoon breaks since it is so hot when we go, so we maximize our time in the parks in the morning and at night.

On the way home, though, we've done two nights at St. Augustine at Vilano Beach for our last two trips.  We plan to do it this year, too.  We love it there.  We also plan to spend a couple of nights in Savannah, Georgia, on the way home.

Staying on resort, renting points is the way to go.
