Hi,
If there was a day among March 16-20 to attend SDC, which would be the least crowded?  I understand weather plays a big part.  Aim for a weekday?  Would St. Patricks Day be a good or bad idea?  I have a 5 year old in tow.  Thanks.

16th & 17th would be the least crowded, maybe 20th too, followed by 18th, and finally19th. I would expect at least 12,500 Friday and Saturday since it is St. Patricks weekend. I expect 5,000 to 7,500 Wednesday and Thursday since they are weekdays in March. Very few people will be there, even though it will be spring break because most parents will probably have to work and the earlier in the year it is, the less people will be there. But if there is a chance of cold weather, rain, or the sun rarely showing itself, the less people will come.

If you had to pick a week to go, that week will be less busy than the week after.  I've noticed most schools in the area on on break the next week to coincide with Easter.
Go Wednesday or Thursday.  They will be the least busy.  If the weather is nice on the weekend, it can get crazy.

What's "the area"? Branson is on Spring Break that week March 14-18. Springfield is the week before. Most KS schools are the 14-18. It's really unusual for TX/OK/KS/MO to be any later than mid-March. I expect that week to be busy, but I'm guessing Wednesday and Thursday will be the slowest days. We'll be there all week, planning to go most mornings as long as the weather cooperates. We did a cold Spring Break morning a few years ago and never, ever again.

Yep.  A couple of years ago, we were almost snowed in.  I remember we went to see "Six" and it was fine when we walked in, but when the show was over, there as nearly a foot of snow on the roads!  Crazy times..... :-\

I'm not sure about all of arkansas but our spring break is the 21-25.  We are in east arkansas.
