I believe it is past the bear making shop along the story telling area behind the fence inside HDH. Which might be the same area as Madtwins is describing.

The fence it's behind has signs on it, by the path up to the treehouses inside hdh

As you walk into HDH stay to the right and walk thru the story telling area. As you walk along there is this fence that looks like it is made of sticks on your right. At the end of this stick fence it runs into a regular fence and that corner is where these boxes are.........I think.
