Quoting Jules Verne?  Hmm.  It's too vague for me to understand......................... ::)

I see the bat wings, which is compelling, but exactly what is the unsymmetrical  plate behind them?

Anyone still think the ride is going to be Wild Mountain or Wild Wings?  :-X

So instead of the conman story it kind of sounds like they are going full steam punk with a Voyages Extraordinaires type of story. They did promise "Promises a colossal, world-footprint attraction! NEVER done – anywhere – before THIS! ". So it will still involve theming from around the world...

Hmmm... not really seeing how that is going to tie into the city...

How about waiting until the 16th before writing it off as not being able to "tie into the city"

don't know if this is significant but i zoomed in on the backdrop and found what looks like two numbers right above the G (sorry no pic I couldn't figure out how to post pics)

Well now... interesting development here, between the "Gravity Redefined" teaser and this, I am really intrigued as it seems with the wing art and the Jules Verne quote, this seems to be something along the lines of Robur the Conqueror meets H.G. Wells' Time Machine for the name/theme. There was indeed a lesser talked about name called "Mountain Wings". Flying time machine maybe? http://io9.gizmodo.com/that-time-jules-verne-caused-a-ufo-scare-453662253

It would be kinda funny if they went with something inspired by this if they can make it unique enough so it avoids a legal issue with Universal: http://backtothefuture.wikia.com/wiki/Jules_Verne_Train

^ that's really grasping.
If it ends up being Mountain Wings, B-Dubs better be the sponsor of the ride.

Jules Verne is just as famous for his Time Machine as his Flying Machine.

Nonsense. Never to early to fall back on the classic SDCFans talking points of out-of-theme complaints and "not in Ms. Mary's time!" lol  ::)

I don't know sdcfan88, it may be a reach but that certainly seems like a possibility. Or at least something along those lines. I'm curious if the actual name has even been trademarked yet... I'm just not sold on them actually doing a time travel theme. Even for the modern HFEC, that seems a bit out there to throw into SDC.

Every Jules Verne design had some sort of wings.

Just found this posted on Facebook. Look at that drop! Mack spinning/dive coaster?
I think this confirms the tower plunge part that was seen in all the concepts.

On a sidenote, a stop here in Nantes between Puy du Fou and Mont St. Michel is in my plans
