Well I get to work the regional Knights of Columbus Free Throw Competition but will be hosting a Superb Owl party later on.

No game here, don't support the players, owners, or NFL itself. We are through with feeding into that.
Deposit the Superbowl into the same basket as the Grammys and the Oscars etc. We are done with mass messaged entertainment that does not support our country.

I may, however, make some hot wings!

Brother in law made some French Dip sandwiches. Pig out on that i guess & watch the game. Puppy Bowl sounds better though..

I am in agreement with you MH.. I havent watched a game all season.

In fact up until a few days ago I didnt even know who was playing.. LOL... But them i read an article about one of the Eagle players that said IF they won, he would not accept the invitation to the white house...

So i decided I would watch at last part of it and root for the patriots..

These guys that are all anti-american, and dont want to stand during the anthem,

Eating crab legs and marathoning Star Trek: Voyager. (yeah I am a huge nerd, deal with it lmao)

Superbowl is meh for me. Prefer College FB. Granted I do pop in to catch a few commercials to see if anything is interesting.

so far the commercials have only been "meh". LOL,..,

I did laugh at the Dodge commercial, pulling the Viking boat....

None of the Eagles knelt all year. Their QB openly talks about his believes...how he is blessed to be in that position (the starter recently got hurt)...and how he can wait to be a preacher when his playing time is done. 90% of the country was going for the Eagles because of that and/or is just tired of seeing Brady win.

You don't have to let a few players and/or stories influence your overall view of an entire league. If an Eagles doesn't want to go to DC....good for him....it's a free country. The game was great....one of the better games I've seen this season. I've haven't watch much this year mostly because i've been too busy.

Sand, I didn't care for any of the commercials, but I really liked half-time. Started out a bit slow, but I think Timberlake did a great job! After watching all those fly tying vids, I learned how to tie a wooly bugger!
