Recently purchased the CDX Blocks Littler Dipper "Lego" style coaster and did a report on building it.

I got to admit, it was a lot of fun to build and I think it turned out great.
Definitely recommend purchasing.  It was just under $40 with shipping.

My brother has room in his backyard to build one like that.  We haven't been able to convince his wife yet to let us do it... yet.

We built a nice K'Nex coaster.  It ended up pretty cool.

Yeah I had the original K'Nex Coaster Set (back when they didn't have upstops) when I was younger and we had some wild creations (we being myself and my brother).

I'll have to see if I can find some of those old photos and scan them to post.  Yay Young Swoosh and Dj.

UPDATE:  While CDX Blocks is out of stock of their smaller Little Dipper sets (like what I posted above), they are running a special on their larger CYCLONE model and it's pretty much 50% OFF.

We bought one and will do another build report when it arrives.
If you're interested, here's their site

*Note to self* Sometime soon I need to do a photo report of my LEMAX Carnival Village.

And after assembly, you find a small, slow revolution electric motor and use a small rubber band drive system to run lift chain.. 8)

You don't need rubber bands.  This thing has a legit chain lift.   I'm pretty sure my K'Nex motor will work on the lift to power it.  I'm headed home this week and plan to dig it out to bring back with me to JC

yes i saw the chain lift..
didnt know how the motor would drive the lift station.... thus rubber band to connect motor to drive.
Not like you could use a chain drive from motor to lift chain..... OR could you........ ??? ???

CDX Blocks recently ran a sale on their larger Cyclone Model and we scored one.

I got to admit, this thing is pretty impressive.
