That makes sense. Yesterday was the first very hot day in the area. Today will be the same. I was surprised there weren't more boats on the lake yesterday. We'll see what today looks like.

I'm at the park today and it seems really busy.
Unrelated but not helping, several of the rides are closed for some reason..

Wonder if they're having some sort of issue. I had to drive past the entrance this morning on my way to Branson, going the opposite way of the traffic going into the park, and it was backed up past Shepherd of the Hills. I was very happy I wasn't waiting in that line

We were there today arrived before opening. Left at noon after watching the swashbuckling show, when that let out it seemed really busy so we left. Lots of rides were down including PK and the train.

I believe it was... Not all rides were down but a lot were. My daughter heard it was power related.

Only 13,300 there on saturday, maybe people were getting there early to try to beat the heat.....

109 heat index here saturday and 106 on fridday. I think summer has arrived here..

Even though I was there last Saturday I am thinking about making a trip up as some point over the holiday toward the end of the week/weekend. How busy do you guys think it will be?
