Season pass link to app and park entry

My wife noticed today when she linked her season pass to the SDC application that it now stores the barcode from her pass. Has anyone entered the park using their SDC app/season pass?

Lol, yeah, SDC tends to adapt slowly to changing tech. Basically everywhere I go now that requires tickets sends them to my phone and scans at the entrance. Very few physical tickets/passes anywhere anymore.

I used my phone today without issue but my daughter met resistance and was then carded and questioned on her birthday

Yes, every employee you talk to will mention this when you bring up the subject on season passes. They added this for the 2022 and future season passes only.

Before I bought my 2022 passes in the park and was just walking around for OTC last time I went, 1 employee said I would have the option for for paper *OR* digital. She made this very confusing and she was incorrect.

Once you login with your account in the app, you can also add them to the Wallet app and show them from there. It will also let you send the bring a friend passes via email or text for next year. Another big change is that the pass holder doesn't have to be present when bring a friend passes are used.

We bought our season pass and chose the digital version. Got another email today that said to access our account for more info. Went there and no new info was available except a digital version of the pass. No link to download it to my Apple wallet or how to access it digitally. If this is there version of a digital pass they are 10 years behind. Also, bring a friend still has to be printed off ? What the hell !!!!!

OK, A correction for above. You have to link it to the app and then you can add it to your wallet. Same with the BAF passes. Maybe only 2 years behind now
