Indeed Steam has it on this one.. Oak Trail NO. 3 School House of Stone County presided over by Miss Bonnie Jean- not trying to one-up steam here, just adding the full info  in regards to the school because in this case I know it!!!

Edited-I mistyped Brownie-was supposed to be Bonnie-my bad!

^  Miss Brownie Jean?  I know Miss Bonnie Jean, who has retired.  Has a new schoolmarm taken the name Miss Brownie Jean in the last couple of years?

I did some poking around, and found this on the SDC site

Oak Trail School

Where all classes are held in one room, and where most children only went to school until 2nd or 3rd grade, then began working to provide food and clothing for their family.  Miss Bonnie Jean invites everyone to pick a desk, sit down and talk to her about school in the 1800s. Watch out for her tricky questions!

I know in my old photos I have this....That was posted outside the school house

^Cool!  I never noticed that sign before.

The lady who is now Miss Bonnie Jean was one of my school teachers and so was her husband.  Who if ya did'nt know is Frisco Jack.....there great people....my wife and I had lunch with her the other day.

^Are you saying "Bonnie Jean" is a character name?  I thought Bonnie Jean was the actual name of the previous teacher.

^^^I'm going to have to find that sign on the next visit.

And finally, here's number 16:

"Horse" Bridge Pylon (the bridge that makes horse noises) near Browns Candy and the Glass Blower

^Rube's right.  And I'm never on when you post these, History Buff. :)

I do think it is a Bridge Pylon but For some reason I am going to say that this is not the horse bridge but the walkway bridge to the swinging bridge by the mill.
