Looking forward to making my 2nd trip into the city this saturday, didnt get to do too much the first time in, but I hope to get on a few rides and I want to see the monks and try some of the food for the 1st festival. Anyone want to recommand anything....I would really like to have another walking taco but have to wait until the end of the year

I'll be there on Friday, possibly Sat., the Monks & Feets of Fire are worth a third visit!  How's the t-shirt/ buttons idea going to help identify members, anyone?

^I'd suggest wearing a carnation in your buttonhole.  One of us will eventually figure out a way to identify each other.  A button would be pretty easy.

^^What are you calling a "walking taco" and why can't you have one until the end of the year?

If I remember correctly that was the name of it "walking taco"

they sold it right next to the saloon and fire in the hole...

it was basically a taco salad in a small bag of doritos....not bad price and really good hot food, when it was snowing the day I had it. I didnt notice it till the end of the year last year.

One of these days I'll get some t-shirt designs out, hopefully before the summer break hits.

My girls and I are going to the park sat and Sun....  Bringing friends who have never been before.  I always love bringing new people.  Watch out Doc.. We are going to be on your cave tour  ;) lol.....

We will be there the 25th.  Making the 3 hour drive down, cramming in all the fun we can handle, and then headed right back home.
This will be the first time that my daughter is going to be tall enough to ride Fire in the Hole.  So it's a big day for us.

I was going to suggest everyone buy one of the "sheriff" badges, but they don't cover all names.  I can make some temp buttons with SDCFans on them until some nice ones are made, and possibly leave them at the cave desk with Doc?  Then it would be easy for all of us to grab one on the way in?  Just a thought.  I will be there on Sunday, the 26th, unless i talk myself into Sat, too!

I'm probably going on Saturday as well.  It would be cool to have a way to recognize each other, although we still may not see each other...it's a big park.  ;)

I will be there Saturday.  IDK if anyone will recognize me, but if you do say see me you can come say "hi" -- just also add that you are from sdcfans if you do so I'm not like "hiiii" and then trying to desperately search my brain for who you are.

Hey, I'll be there Saturday, too!  I'm sitting here at school on my planning period waiting for this day to be over so we can leave.  We'll be in Branson by suppertime tonight!

^LOL at to how many teachers are on this board.
I'm on my planning period right now too.  ;D

Going to SDC this Sat.  I am taking 2 more friends that have never been.  This is going to be a weird weekend because my daughters are with their mother this weekend and are not going.   I wonder what the park will be like without children.
