Just to go with the theme of snow days and continuing ed...

I just want to let you know that we ain't no pansies at our school.
That's right - every school in the area let out early for snow today but us -- that's because WE'RE TOUGHER THAN THOSE OTHER SISSY SCHOOLS!

Just for the record, my wimpy school did not let out early...if you don't count the fact that the kids got out at 12:30 for in-service! 

My students did ask if I thought we'd get out early.  YOU'RE ALREADY GETTING OUT EARLY!!

I stayed until 3:00.  We'll see about Monday...

I was at school until 4pm even with the roads being terrible.  I figured that I'd let the idiots get far enough in the ditch... I mean away from school before I'd set out.  'sides I had to enter grades into Lumen because midterms are due Monday.

I love Lumen. <sarcasm>

You know, my school hasn't mentioned midterms.  I guess it is that time. Hmm.

Of course, if you're out of school all the time for snow days, maybe we haven't hit our midterm yet. 

We'll see about Monday.  Now the weather guy says it may not be so much...

Lumen is one the worst online grading programs I have EVER had to use.  I cannot remember the name of the one I used when I did my student teaching, but it was a lot easier and user-friendly then this thing.

Not to mention it doesn't want to load have the time and you HAVE to use Firefox if you want it to load correctly. It's not worth the hassle most of the time.

Oh and yeah we're going to get hit tomorrow by snow on into Monday -- so I guess we'll see if we have school... but then again we might be "tough" and go anyway regardless of how dangerous the roads are.  I have no idea anymore what they look for when calling off school.

Boy, could I use some more snow days.  I had to work five days in a row last week!  (Well, I showed up anyway.)

I'm all for a snow day tomorrow but I want school on Tuesday, because my Drumline goes on tour that evening.

Well, our snow seems to have fallen through so far.

I may have to go to school <gasp> every day this week like History Buff.

Well once again we're the only district in session...

Hooray.  We get out at 12:30PM 
It is still really coming down hard outside... it will be interesting to see if we have school tomorrow

It's been comin' down steadily here in Springfield for a few hours now, but it ain't stickin'.

[Swoosh]

It's not stickin' on the roads here anymore, but on the ground where there is already a bunch of snow it sure is.  The snow is getting pretty deep now.

Wow.  It has literally snowed the last 24 hours here.  I don't remember the last time we had this much snow on the ground.  It's crazy.  Roads here are terrible, but I'm not holding my breath that we'll have a snow day tomorrow.  For some reason our supt. has become very timid about calling off school here all of a sudden.
