Got this one, Rube?  (We've talked about starting a "SDC Collectors" group, like the pin traders)  Until I can get better close-up shots, here's a look at some of my collections, from SDC, Dogpatch, 6 Flags, etc.

does over 600 items count as a collection, or an obsession? :-\

Joy

I'd say it counts as a museum! lol

^Haha! Does SDC have the 50th anniversary book out for sale at the park yet?

Don't think so, or at least, we couldn't find it. They also had very few ballcaps available; I think they just haven't gotten all their shipments of merchandise in yet.

You've Got A Great Past Just Ahead Of You!

How-doFolks

We aint got much.
Clothes - hats - coffee mugs - walkin' stick - lump of coal - ol' nails we found - characture drawing - a foam ball from Splash Harbor that rolled infront of us in 2009 - Sarsaparilla bottle - old passes - SDC bags & receipts - cave pics - ol' time pics, i even have one when they used to be metal from back in 1987 - cedar chips - jewelry - drinkin' cups -
We have only been collectin' stuff for about 5 years now. I'd have to bust out some of our stuff, we just moved & still need to make our City wall in our new home.

I just recently purchased "The Sounds of SDC" on vinyl. I got it in near mint condition on ebay.
I was wondering  if anyone could tell me what year the record was made & sold?
There is no year listed on the cover or record itself.
I ain't got no pants no more! The Dang Baldknobbers stole'em!

I know this is an old thread, but one of my favorite SDC merchandise is a "wanted poster" from the print shop.  These were very cool.  You could pick the name and watch them print.  They were inexpensive and an unique souvenir than you couldn't get anywhere else.   Some of the letter presses are rusting outside the photo shop, there is one inside, but I doubt it will ever run again :(

Before printers,  It was cool to watch them make yours.

Junior, too!

I think the Sounds of SDC  album was made in 80 or 81. I know I was there on the town square when some of it was recorded...and I know most of the people who performed on it. Fun times!
