Yep, here it is. Finally.

20% off cover price if you advance order now. It comes to basically $25, which includes shipping. And 50% of the profit goes to charity!

Or, to avoid the $5 shipping, you can pick up the book for free at the Springfield News-Leader office!

Is this the SDC book? of a 3'rd party attempt at the book, I am confused because it looks like  the memory book has photos of individuals-scrapbook style, and there is no set cover at this time? Mine would have been ready for the first day, but it was passed over...hmm gotta find a publisher quick to cash in!

Preview of a 2 page spread.......Sorry about the blurb across, I was told to protect my layout by a possible publisher.

What do you all think?

Wow, that looks great Rube!!

And I'm also wondering if this book was made by SDC?

I don't know if SDC itself made it, but it was advertised in the newest Pathfinder. The URL they gave was for http://www.news-leader.com/sdcbook, which goes to the link I provided in the original post.

Interestingly enough, I thought the News-Leader link was just /sdc and just now typed it in, and it has more than just the book on there. There's a photo contest going on.

Check out the second web site in the previous post and click on photo gallery. You will see over 400 photos of people visiting SDC from 1960-2010. I have put some of the diving bell and float trip photos you may have seen posted on my Flickr page on the Springfield News Leader Site, and have a blog there under the title JuniorDugan, three galleries, two are SDC, one Hee Haw Theater, Branson.

Wow, way to go Junior on uploading your own pictures to the album!

Just be careful though, once you start looking through all of the pictures it's impossible to stop. :D
