Haytater, number 10 on your list is new to me; I'm going to have to check that out!

haytater

History Buff - I wanted to make all my user names the same. I see that I'm still a Citizen though! I hadn't considered that when I made the change.

buscuitcreek - they also have cheese curds!

1.  Breakfast at the Mill
2.  Opening ceremony
3.  Sit and watch Ray Johnson hammer out his craft
4.  Flooded Mine
5.  Fire in the Hole
6.  Grandfathers Mansion ( I still miss the waterfall )
7.  The Train
8.  Watch the waterwheel then check out the mill and take in "that smell"
9.  Woodcarving shop
10.  Candyshop

Then on the way out, I would sit in the town square and simply take it all in and reflect on how grand that place really is.

Duelist

My list would change some depending on what festival/season was occuring at the time but I'll do the 10 things for a summer visit:

1.  Breakfast at the Mill (with Miss Debbie as the waitress)
2.  Opening ceremony- I love watching them chase the Bolins off the square!
3.  The Great Shootout at the Flooded Mine- always the first ride we do.
4.  Thunderation- now my 6-year-old daughter's favorite ride.  She says we should ride it 10 times during each trip- I think we managed 9 during our last 2 day visit.
5.  Shoot the water cannons at River Blast- a fast way to cool off if you don't want to wait in a long line to actually ride RB.
6.  Fire in the Hole
7.  The Frisco Silver Dollar steam train
8.  American Plunge - which always gets us wetter than Lost River.
9.  Frozen Lemonade
10. All American Special at the Lumber Camp
I'm Your Huckleberry

6. Hearing the steam whistle down by the Homestead or of the train.
7. FITH
8. Watching SDC characters (wish there were more).

I know I am going to leave a lot out so no wisecracks or "I cant believe you left out......." LOL! I am just going by what I really know and remember. Please....be gentle.  ;)

1. First is a slow walk around the Hospitality House where I whet my anticipation of walking out onto the black pavement for the first time for this visit and knowing it's the last time I will get to do it.

2. Tour Marvel Cave

3. Grandfather's Mansion

4. Time for a funnel cake. Eat it s-l-o-w-l-y.

5. Take in the Saloon Show.

6. Relaxing ride on the train. Make sure I get a seat where the Bolins can harrass me.

7. Find a place in the park to just sit and watch everyone enjoying their time and take in the peace and "aura" of SDC.

8. A moment to reflect and pray in the Wilderness Church

9. Go through the Flooded Mine

10. The last rush of FITH
