Maybe we ought to open a thread called SDC Facebook, to report the latest happenings there. If it were not for postings on SDCFans.com, I would not have known about some of the photo pages they've posted. I sure would have liked to have seen the Burl Ives' America thing there...Duelist, was the quality better than what is posted at the other site, or the same? I would think an SDC copy would be of higher quality.

There is only really one source for the Burl Ives America that has been passed around and it comes from Vimeo.com.   To my knowledge, that user on Vimeo is the only person to have an archival copy of it and the quality is the same there, and probably everywhere you are going to find it. 

That's unfortunate, but that's also what you get in the age before digital.  At least we have that jumpy intro to remind us of the good ol' days.
